Trip Overview

Everest Luxury Heli Trek combines two highly rated travel packages in the Everest region of Nepal - Everest Base Camp Trek and Everest Heli Trek. These two popular travel packages are particularly for adventure lovers and luxury seekers respectively. The most interesting aspect of this trek is that it takes you to the top of the world i.e. At the Everest Base Camp from where you can admire the wilderness of mighty Mt. Everest, the highest mountain in the world. Everest Luxury Heli Trek allows you to venture into a mountainous terrain resided by Sherpa people that traverses through the alpine forests and pastures to the highest point that a person can probably be on the earth. The tranquil environment with snow clad mountains and its wilderness; it’s truly a rejuvenating experience to be there at the Everest Base Camp.

The excitement of this journey doesn’t end here at the base camp. Your exhilarating walk to the base camp is followed by a luxurious helicopter ride that takes you off from the base camp over the Everest region of Nepal. The Heli ride offers an aerial view of the stunning mountainous landscape. The snow clad mountains, icefalls, glaciers, Gokyo lakes, Sagarmatha National Park, Tengboche monastery, Sherpa villages, alpine forests, everything looks great from up there.

Embark your journey to the top of the world!

Sounds interesting, doesn’t it? Yes, Everest Luxury Heli Trek is all about marching ahead to the highest point on the earth. Everest Base Camp is a ceremonial destination where one can relish the trophy of being on the top; in front of mighty Mt. Everest. The journey commences with a flight from Kathmandu city to Lukla airport. At Lukla, we are already in the Khumbu region of Nepal. We slowly and gradually follow a trail that descends down to Dudhkoshi River and ascends up to Sagarmatha National Park. We pass various Sherpa villages like Phakding, Monjo and Jorsale on the way to reach Namche – a vibrant town in Khumbu region. Further, the trail climbs up to Tengboche monastery, Dingboche and Lobuche to Gorekshep. Finally, we walk to Everest Base Camp. It might be surprising, but Mt. Everest is not visible from its base camp. The peak gets hidden in between the peaks of Mt. Lhotse and Mt. Nuptse. So, we climb up to Kalapatthar which is considered to be a great viewpoint in Everest region. It offers glorious views of sunrise/ sunset and panoramic views of mountains in Everest region like Mt. Everest, Mt. Nuptse, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Cho-Oyu, Mt. Ama Dablam, Mt. Thamserku and many other mountains. From Base Camp, we take climb on a helicopter that will fly us over the Everest region to Lukla.
